Time canvas

Today, I will be sharing with you the lastest canvas that I made.
As this requires many products, I was glad that all of them were easily accessible, allowing me to work hassle-free.

Aujourd'hui , voici ma dernière toile.
J'étais contente d'avoir sous la main plein de produits différents qui m'ont permis de travailler comme il me plait.

For the background of that canvas is a rice paper decoupage like tissu paper from "Stamperia" that I found in a small shop in France  (Here link for Stamperia on line )
Le fond de la toile est fait d'un papier de découpage en  papier de riz ( trouvé en France dans une petite boutique )

The small steel embellishments are from recycled stuff ( brush, cardstock rounds, pieces of old clock , cardstock gears) except for the clock (T.Holtz ) and the key (Vintaj product).
I used two colors from Viva 3 D Stempel Farbe : copper and gold, modeling paste with stencil ("Mini cubist "from  the crafters workshop)  and some mesh and little stones ( Prima "mini art stones ") and micro beads ( my old stuff) .

 Tous les petits ajouts sont du recyclage mis à part le cadran de montre /flèche et la clé ( voir références dessus en anglais ) 
J'ai utilisé deux couleurs de peintures , du mortier de structure avec un pochoir, du mesh de plomberie et des petites billes et pierres.

The key and the clock were colored with Patina (Vintaj product). The colors used are ochre and victorian gold.
The letters of the tittle come from  Prima "the archivist/ statement stickers"

La clé et le cadre de montre/flèche sont colorisés avec des produits Patina . 
Ses produts sont idéaux pour le fer. 
L'alphabet utilisé pour le titre est de Prima .

Tag April

Finally, I took some time to do the April Tag from T.Holtz . You can find the tutorial for the two techniques that were used in my tag HERE
Finalement j'ai pris le temps de faire mon tag T.Holtz d'avril. Pour cela . j'ai utilisé deux techniques différentes expliquées dans le pas-à-pas .

Not very much to say except that it was fun to make !!!
Pas grand chose à ajouter sinon que j'ai pris plaisir à le faire !

XXS

On the blog "The Scrapsisters" they issued a challenge forthis month (HERE for the link ) whereby our project could either be XXS or XXL as we want .
I chose XXS with a small creation of mini book in a pocket.
The tutorial was gifted by the magazine "The craft Stamper" issue February 2016 by Sarah Anderson .
A mix of origami and bookbinding .

 Sur le blog "The scrapsisters", ils nous proposent ce mois-ci le défi suivant : faire une création XXS ou XXL au choix.
J'ai choisi XXS avec un petit livre dans une pochette.
Le pas-à pas que j'ai choisi vient du magazine "The craft Stamper" numéro de février 2016 , les explications sont de Sarah Anderson avec un mélange d'origami et de reliure pour le livre.
Regardons les photos avant de passer aux explications.

The pocket is made with felt with an origami folding , I sewed three buttons and beads on the front.
This is a piece that measured 22 cm X 5.5 cm that I folded, sewed many times

La pochette est fait en feutrine que j'ai plié suivant la méthode de l'origami. J'ai ajouté trois boutons et des perles en les cousant sur le devant. La pièce mesure 22cm de long X 5.5 cm de large et il suffit juste de plier, coudre, plier et coudre à nouveau. et bien-sûr bien suivre les explications à la lettre !

 For the book, it's very simple too.
Three rectangles of paper ( 10 cm   X 5 cm ) that I painted with acrylic paint ( and my gelli plate) and stamped some flowers . They are folded in the middle and bound together .


Pour le livre, encore plus simple.
Trois rectangles de  papier (10 cm de long X 5 cm de haut ) que j'ai décoré avec de la peinture acrylique ( et la Gelli plate ) et des tampons de fleurs . Ils sont plier au milieu puis cousus entre eux .

PLP Valentine

Today, a PLP ( pocket letter ) made for the forum "Le potager créatif " with a "Valentine's day " theme.
I used a little of everything I have that is black and red with a sort of vintage look.
All the cards (9) are made individually, each one is different !
Let's see the result :

And of course the back is also important :

 

The back was made with 3 Distress inks +template and hearts rubber stamps embossing with transparent powder.

Stamps by

Today, here are two cards made with the rubber stamps by Prima (Finnabair)
For the first one , I just stamped the woman with blue ink on paper ( put a mask, stamp the background with another rubber stamp  ) and added some purple wire and blue vellum rolls in the hairs . In addition , I put some beads and embroided the word "Today " with purple wool.

 The second one ,I stamped the woman with black ink on a paint tester . Of course the words are stamped too on the same "paper". I also added purple and black ribbon , small dots .

Gelli Plate - Mixed Media

These past few days , it has been raining a lot so as usual when this happens I whip out my paints! I decided to used my "gelli plate" that was brand new ( just used it one time , shame on me ) to do some papers for a special project.
Let's see the result :

Two layers : blue background, purple on top ( Dylusions paints: vibrant turquoise and crushed grape)
and before printed , I used bubbles wrap.

One layer : green ( Dylusions paints: cut grass ) and I used a comb before printing .

One layer : blue and I used a stencil ( Prima)  before printing

Two layers : yellow and orange ( Dylusions paints: lemon zest and squeezed orange ) 
I made no special technique before printing


I've got many more however I'll stop here or else it'll take up too much space!
This was very easy to use, very easy to clean and the result ...I love it !!!

So now, let's see what I made with these papers  :

I used Washi Tape to close the pockets

 and the back cover 

 

I splashed some black ink everywhere (Bombay  black India ink) and all the stamps that I used are from T.Holtz collection ( Stampers anonymous life quotes CMS 227 and fairytale frenzy CMS 058)

Another year of tags challenges

This year , I 'm ready to do it again !
Last year, I made only 6 tags of Tim Holtz "12 tags of 2015".
For 2016 , I would like to make more !!!

Happy New Year 2016

I want to take a moment to wish you all a Happy New Year filled with love and good health. I hope that you can find the time to create during 2016.

"We are all artists , even if a lot of you don't think so" as Trist Lamiter , editor of Craft Stamper ( issue January 2016) said.

In the spirit of the New Year, here are some cards for wishing a Happy 2016 to others that I made.

All were made with the tutorial of Yolande K ( here  in french only )

The colors of the Distress ink that I used are
Card 1 : Fossilized amber/picked raspberry.
Card 2 : Mermaid lagoon / carved pumpkin.
Card 3: cracked pistachio/ wilted violet.

Merry and bright !

I wish you a merry and bright Christmas with a little canvas

As you can see if you move the canvas in other position , you can see the colors of the stars changes !
This is a neat little trick made using texture paste which work with a dark background (like here with black gesso) : Comic Shimmer : icicle blue sparkle and frosty dawn sparkle .
